HiBean v1.1.0: A Comprehensive Upgrade for Your Data Experience ​

HiBean v1.1.0 is officially released! This update brings a comprehensive upgrade centered around the data experience, featuring cloud data synchronization, AI green bean label recognition, roast event undo functionality, multi-platform data import/export support, and a richer multilingual experience.

✨ Core Feature Highlights ​

1. Cloud Data Sync: Access Your Roasting Data Anytime, Anywhere ​

Now, all your roasting data can be automatically synced to the cloud! Device information, device settings, green bean profiles, roasting plans, and roasting history will be automatically uploaded to cloud storage. No matter which device you use, you can access your complete roasting data, making your experience more coherent and convenient.

Data security is our top priority. All cloud data is encrypted to ensure your roasting recipes are safe and sound.

2. AI Green Bean Label Recognition: Scan and Go ​

Adding green bean information has never been easier! Simply take a picture of the label on the green bean package, and the AI will automatically recognize and extract key information, including origin, processing method, and roasting suggestions. This feature is especially useful for handling a large number of green beans from different origins, significantly improving data entry efficiency.

Each user can use the AI recognition function for free 5 times per month.

3. Undo Roast Event Marking ​

Mistakes are no longer a problem! If you accidentally mark the wrong event during the roasting process (like marking the first crack too early), you can now easily undo it. This feature makes the roasting process more flexible, giving you more room for error, especially during intense roasting operations.

4. Display Numerical Labels on Roast Curve ​

We now offer a more precise data visualization experience. In the settings, you can choose to display numerical labels on the roasting curve, making key data such as temperature and time clear at a glance. This is particularly useful for professional users who need precise control over roasting parameters.

5. Roast History Import & Export: Your Data, Your Control ​

We now support importing and exporting roast history in various formats, allowing for freer data flow:

  • Export Function:
    • Export roast history to CSV format, convenient for further data analysis, backup, or integration with other tools. CSV Export Feature
  • Import Function:
    • Artisan Compatible: Directly import Artisan's alog JSON format files to seamlessly migrate your historical roasting data.
    • Roastetta Integration: Supports importing roast history from the Roastetta web platform, making data synchronization between different platforms effortless.

6. Broader Globalization Support ​

  • New Origin Countries Supported: Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar.
  • New UI Languages: Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Thai.

🚀 Improvements ​

  • Device Control Optimization: Adjusted the display style of related components for devices that do not support drum speed adjustment to avoid user confusion.
  • Preheat Interface Enhancement: The preheat stage now displays more data related to the roasting plan, including the background curve and charge temperature, allowing you to be fully prepared during preheating.
  • Green Bean Editing Page Optimization: You can now directly edit green bean data on the bean preview interface, making the operation more intuitive and convenient.
  • Device Icon Update: Updated the texture map for the Skywalker device for a more refined visual effect.
  • Android Back Button Optimization: Optimized the back button logic on Android. A confirmation will now be required when pressing the back button during a roast or while using the app to prevent accidental exit.

🛠 Bug Fixes ​

  • Fixed an issue where the app might display in English on the first launch.
  • Fixed an abnormal temperature RoR spike caused by the "mark before charge" operation on drum roasters.
  • Fixed a chart display error when the Sniper device firmware data was abnormal.
  • Fixed an automatic marking error issue during the automatic roasting process.
  • Fixed an issue where the coffee green bean/origin search function was not working.
